This can be a car or other serious accident, physical or sexual assault, war-related events or torture, or natural disasters such as bushfires or floods.

  2. Of course it is true. But most importantly I think some people and I included do not understand these things. I have experienced a very bad accident. Afterwards my perspective on things, cars and all has tremendously changed. I don't know whether it's just part of life or trauma as characterized. Perhaps I need more insight on how such things are dealt with.
